@BigInJapanInc has created new QR code Reader for iPhone

Big in Japan, located in Dallas, Text created another version of ShopSavvy, origanally a 1d and 2d barcode scanner has just released a new version of their software specifically for scanning QR, or quick response codes.  This is because users expressed to them that they were interested in only scanning QR codes with their software.
I find this exciting because I am a user of ShopSavvy.  I have also recommended that others use it when I am asked on the best QR code scanning software.
I will be really excited with the version of this comes out for the Android. So, Big In Japan, "Can you please come out with a version for Android?  I would be very happy and so would the players of the ScanDayton QR code ScanVenger Hunts!"
Okay, I am a user and I have made a request.
Hopefully the Android version of ShopSavvy will be out soon!
I will keep an eye out!

Droid2 must have apps, and why they are

Droid LogoI often visit the market on my Droid2 to tryout new apps so I created a new list of "Android Must Haves". You may find this list useful for your Android phone because I include additional information about each app to help you understand why it may be useful to you. Keep in mind that new apps are added to the Market daily so this list will be updated often, because; as mentioned previously, I download new apps often so I am always finding new things.  This list is no particular order.

Here is a list to get you started.

List Master
Cost: free
Features: Helps you to stay organized with your tasks, you can also group your tasks by category.

Advanced Task Killer
Cost: free
Features:  Helps save battery life and free memory on your Android. I used this and managed to get 7 hours of battery life from my phone without having to charge it.  The key is to remember to open the app throughout the day and kill unused apps.

Neoreader
Cost: free
Features:  Easily scan QR codes with your Android! To make it even easier, place a shortcut on your homepage of your Android for one-touch QR code scanning.

Cardiotrainer
Cost: free or paid (you choose which version you would like to use). I have the free version.
Features: Track your workouts (run, walk, jog, etc.). Great for helping you to stay on task.  Workouts can be posted on CardioTrainer.com or on Facebook.  Definitely a must have for me. :)

PDANet
Cost:  free or licensed (paid)
Features:  Allows you to tether with your mobile device.  Very easy to use and every person who has an Android should have this installed.  There are a lot of times when I am traveling and need access to the Internet. Definitely. Must have!
