This article will show you how to scan a QR code with your smartphones.

To scan qr codes, also known as a 2d barcode, you must have a QR code reader

Android

If you have an Android phone, you can get a QR Code reader from the Marketplace.  Here are a few free ones to get you started:

Now that you have your QR Code Reader Installed, Follow These Simple Steps

  1. Click on the icon to open the application on your smartphone (iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile etc.).  For example, if you installed NeoReader, click on the NeoReader icon.
  2. Place your phone’s camera over the QR code (2d barcode) so it fits on your screen
  3. Your smartphone will ‘decode’ the barcode and the content will be displayed on the screen
